5th Year by Junior Achievement was nothing but an idea when they came to us. The founder of 5th Year knew there was a problem with the education system, and wanted to fix it. Our team created their name, and logo, while I was tasked with designing a website, print collateral, and a social media template for them.
This was my first large web build with design2influence and TouchStone Digital. I was able to work closely with the developers to create this website. Our team developed the term "trailblazer" for the 5th year students, and this attitude shaped the designs for the site. We wanted to have a bold attitude for the design to speak to these students who were willing to break the mold, and not take the traditional path of going straight to college.
Although there was a major focus on the web build, I simultaneously designed their “welcome package” for future 5th year students. As well as any signage or print pieces! One of the ways that we reference the trailblazer attitude is through our animations on the site. We used several scroll hijacks to disrupt the viewers, and allow them to take in all the information on this new program. This was such a fun site to build, and 5th year successfully launched in fall of 2024, I've had the pleasure of helping mentor some of the 5th year inters this year!
The website for 5th Year has won
